Autoset T by ResMed or Sullivan

Anyone know the actual end-of-sale date for the Autoset T?

So far I have figured out they started selling the this model in 2000, but wonder when it was discontinued.

Thx

Professor Colin Sullivan is the inventor of CPAP and co founder of Resmed

Here's a link to the ResMed paper "Origins" which includes a timeline of the release dates of their various models:

According to this paper the Autoset t was introduced in March 1999.

It's an interesting paper about the history of sleep medicine research and the notable figures including of course Colin Sullivan.

I couldn't find info on the end-of-sale on the Autoset t, though the S6 was introduced the next year.

My manuals have a copyright date of 2000 ... I wonder if the model was introduced in 1999 then shipped in 2000?

But I'd like to find out if the model was still shipping in 2005.

It was my first APAP and came with an Ultra Mirage (first version) mask ... but memory is breaking down and I recall getting them about 2000, yet records I can find say it may have beed 2005. But in 2005 the UM II mask was out, and ResMed had a better/smaller machine, the S8. I remember being shown an S8 as a replacement for my machine but at the time I recall it wasn't APAP; only CPAP; thus wasn't an option and I ended up with a Respironics RemStar for my second machine... and the memory details fits the 2005 study dates as my second study. Also, the study AHI was much higher than I recall (nearly double !!).

Losing one's mind is a painful thing; especially when you can see it happening.

I have an S7 Autoset Respond that was manufactured in 2004. If you got the Autoset T in 2005, it was old inventory.
