respiration levels
My median respiration level is 10.6, below the suggested normal range of 12.  I am very physically active if that matters.  Is this a data point to be concerned about?

RE: respiration levels
Respiration rate needs to be viewed in context with tidal volume and minute vent as well as overall efficacy. While your sleeping respiration rate is relatively low, it is not as low as quite a few people we see on the forum. I would not assume that RR at 10.6/minute is a problem unless there are other issues, particularly if you are in good physical condition and aerobic health.

RE: respiration levels
Thank you very much.
Title volume is 500 median 95 percent 760

And min vent is 5.63 median
95th percent 5.63

Does that mean anything to you?

Thank you much

Sorry 95 percentile is 9.19 on minute vent

RE: respiration levels
Excellent, for at-rest volumes. Assume you are about or just under 6-feet tall?

I have asked before, but my screen shot function doesn’t save to file the image on the screen. Downloads just my user info page. Anybody seen this? I would like to share data as this board seems highly informed!

My data
Hello , thanks for helping me get the graphics fixed.  I recently (about a week ago) went to full mask as leakage was a major problem.  Two nights ago I upped the pressure to 16, which was uncomfortable.  Last night I dropped to 14 and leaks were good but AHI jumped to over 7.

I am not sure I know what the Hyponea means, but is jumped.

Obviously I'd like these data on AHI to get better, and look forward to any insight from the board.  And thank you.

I hope three screenshots came over

trying again

sorry

RE: respiration levels
For a better understanding use RDI, add your RERAs to your AHI.

For treatment improvement on your machine increase min and Max pressures by 1 until your RDI is under 5 then re evaluate and likely increase some more. The Hypopneas and RERAs look clustered which implies a positional cause. A soft cervical collar may help that.

For your next machine I would consider the ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto BiLevel because of your hypopneas, flow limits, and RERAs which respond to the higher pressure support which you get with the bilevel

RE: respiration levels
Thank you, what is RDI?  Increase by 1 meaning whole number?
