Step 2. Installing SleepyHead
As of March 31, 2016, JediMark has a new download page (link above) and is distributing '''beta versions of SleepyHead 1.0.0''' on that page. The installation notes found here are no longer accurate and will need to be edited.

As of July 25, 2017, the most current version of SleepyHead is SleepyHead 1.0.0-beta-2 on Windows and Macintosh machines. The most current version of SleepyHead for Ubuntu linux is SleepyHead 1.0.0-beta-1.
To download SleepyHead, go to the [http://www.sleepfiles.com/SH2/ SleepyHead Download Page] and select the appropriate link for your computer. For most users, the installation should run smoothly by selecting the appropriate download link and following the instructions.

***Under Construction***
'''For Windows:''' SleepyHead 1.0.0-beta-2 runs on Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10. <b>Insert install instructions here</b>. JediMark has had some trouble keeping his security certificate up to date, and Kaspersky AntiVirus sometimes flags the SleepyHead installer as malware. It is not malware and it is safe to install. You may need to temporarily quit your antivirus software long enough for the SleepyHead installer to work. Once SleepyHead is installed, remember to turn your antivirus software back on.

'''For Macintosh OS X:''' SleepyHead 1.0.0-beta-2 runs on Macs running OS 10.7+. The downloaded file SleepyHead-1.0.0-beta-2.2-Snapshot-MacOSX-20160421.dmg should open up as a "Volume." Simply drag the SleepyHead icon to the Applications folder. Once the SleepyHead application has been copied to the Applications folder, it's useful to drag it to the Dock so that launching SleepyHead is easy.

'''For Linux:''' SleepyHead 1.0.0-beta-1 has an automated installer for Unbuntu 15.04. Download the installer, run it and follow the instructions. There is no installer for any other version of Linux. However, experienced Linux users can download the source and compile it if they want to run SleepyHead on a Linux system other than Unbuntu 15.04. Source code for SleepyHead is found at [https://gitlab.com/sleepyhead/sleepyhead-code JediMark's SleepyHead code] page.

***The information below is now outdated***
'''For Windows:''' As of October 28, 2015, there is an '''Automatic Windows Installer''' ('''.exe''') file available on the [http://www.sleepfiles.com/SH2/ SleepyHead Download Page] that will automatically check your computer's operating system to see if it's either a 32 or 64-bit system, and then automatically install either a 32 or 64 bit copy of SleepyHead on your computer. The installer includes shortcuts to both the ''OpenGL'' and ''BrokenGL'' versions in the Windows Start Menu, but places a shortcut on your desktop to the default ''OpenGL'' version (which is the preferred option). After installation, try the ''OpenGL'' version first and if it doesn't work for you, simply use the ''BrokenGL'' version that is linked in the Windows Start Menu.
'''For Linux:''' There are several different Linux packages available. Some older versions are stored in the Releases folder on the Sourceforge site. You can find them by going [https://sourceforge.net/projects/sleepyhead/files/Releases/Linux/ here]. Select the appropriate package for your particular Linux machine. Install the software in the normal way for your system. NOTE: I have NOT installed SleepyHead on a Linux system, and I don't know how well the packages work. Most Linux users know their way around their system however, and are not newbies when it comes to downloading software. For the newer versions of SleepyHead for Linux, please refer to the wiki instructions on [http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php?title=Building_SleepyHead_from_source Building SleepyHead from Source] and a [http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-Building-SleepyHead-on-Linux forum thread here].
