ASV assistance
I thought I was "savvy" already at this point in my life but this is kicking my butt. The pressure of the machine is blowing my masks away from the sides and I'm using the mirage quattro and the quattro FX which are literally leak free but no go ( tried all of my prolly 12 other masks ) still the same. I've tinkered with the PS, epap, etc to no avail. It was fine at 1 point but now it's a no no. I'm using a V-Com ( without it the blowing away wAs worse ) before this started I literally normal pressure and 0 leaks, now it's crazy. I'm also using a 19mm hose ( regular 15mm is like gasping through a straw ) no matter if setup is set at standard tubing or climatelineair. This has gone haywire.
Sorry the link is from another site algorithm but I haven't have time to upload anything to Oscar absent a PC.
Can someone try to assist me a little here on getting a setup that won't blow my mask away. This are the stats.
This is the setup that was ok no leak issues.

This same setup is causing havoc now

Any handy hand around? Thanks
And here I thought I knew something ?? ASVAuto is another beast.
God bless you
RE: ASV assistance
Sorry, I don't have sleep HQ login info. I'd rather see OSCAR charts really anyway.
I've used ASV in the past for 2 successful years. List your current and past settings.
You will have Mode: CPAP, ASV, ASV Auto
If you're on ASV Auto, you'll have EPAP Min and Max
On ASV, EPAP static number
Shouldn't be on CPAP for CA
PS will always be a range of minimal 5 between Min and Max.
IPAP will be the sum of EPAP and PS.
Mask and pressure info, mine would occasionally hit IPAP 25 with slight to small leaking on a Fisher and Paykel Vitera full face.

No I need ASVAuto I have both CA and CCA. Those settings were set at
Ps min/max 6/16
Min/Max Epap 9/15
Min/Max Ipap 15/31
But I currently have it at
Min/max Epap 5/12
Min/max Ps 3/15
Ipap 8/27
P.s you no need an HQ login to see the links I posted ?
God bless you
RE: ASV assistance
Hi Vako,
I just looked at your sleephq charts, ahi in both is good, the leak rate though when uploading data from dreamstations seems to be much higher than it is in Oscar, I'm not sure why it's different (it may be taking the top line of leak rate rather than the lower line)..
Why did you change the pressure settings on your asv?
RE: ASV assistance
When I tried the first link, a login page appears.
I haven't suggested any settings change. This was only mentioning what was available.

RE: ASV assistance
weird the first link doesn't require a login for me, only the account page does.
RE: ASV assistance
Sorry, my mistake, link 2 was the login request one per my attempt.
Current pressure probably better than older. You might want to remove the Ramp.

Why did you change the pressure settings on your asv?
Because of the masks issues. The new setting I just put on last night still blowing up my masks from the side, I don't understand, stupid thing is supposed to calibrate itself to my breathing pattern and send whatever PS I need, that thing is blowing way more than I need it seems so since it's blowing away the masks, I got it even lower last night. I put epap at 4/12 and PS at 3/10 and still blowing them away. How the heck is this happening and why ?. Wasn't doing it before. I could use the bleep eclipse but I'm not in the mood for shaving and double taping my mouth, that's how much of a mouth breather I am and how strong of a jaw drop I have. But it's pissing me off
This is the results I'm getting, with the change I made last night it was even worse and I decreased the ps numbers ( this is the one not showing on my first post ) https://sleephq.com/public/3fdc7c9d-a7f0...2bfed591c9
God bless you
RE: ASV assistance
If things are within normal ranges, including leaks, the ASV will only increase pressure as needed, including EPAP, PS, and IPAP.

RE: ASV assistance
Well they aren't in normal ranges, leak rate is off the charts, waking me up couple times or more a night I tighten as far as every mask goes to no avail
God bless you
