How soon to expect results
I have been using CPAP for 16 days and my AHI is 16 (was 45 in sleep study). That's too high - should I wait the 30 days of the trial period or try to get it adjusted now? i don't have leaks.

You should be doing better than 16 unless you have a very high number of central apnea events. Suggest you post your daily SleepyHead chart. Pay close attention to the tips in the link at the bottom of my post about optimizing the layout of the screen.

RE: How soon to expect results
It will take a period of time to see the benefits. That period of time varies with each person. Read the information at the bottom of Ron's post so you can supply us some detailed charts so we can make valid recommendations.
Hang in there.

Like others have stated, post sleepyhead data so assessment and help can be based on your exact requirements. Once you've done that, it is not too early, in my view to start dialling in to get better numbers than 16 as this is not considered treated. AHI has to be under 5 for this. However many are able to achieve better than that but the final best test is always how you feel with the treatment.

Thanks! I in fact the next day posted sleepyhead charts and several people recommended a cervical collar. My AHI went down to 1.5 the very next day!
