RE: EERS using Resmed AirFit P30i Mask
I have been testing some masks lately for this kind of thing. The lowenstein machines have a great mask vent indicator in their software. Anyway the F&P Nova micro has a very limited vent. Right near the bottom of the vent scale. I couldn't use it because of the low vent and ended up modifying it to increase venting. Anyway just thought I would let you know since you are already a pillows user. The mask itself is great too.
When I want to fine tune venting of a mask, I use beeswax to safely seal any holes I want. It is reversible of course, and smells good! Drilling them out yourself is not a good idea, as the holes are specially tapered and chamfered to reduce noise. Very tricky to control the hole size and venting rate when drilling with standard drills. You need gasfitters drills to perform properly and then you have to try chamfer smoothly. Any little dags hanging in the breeze and you got whistling.
