RE: Resvent iMatrix Software & Firmware Update for iBreeze machines
Hello friends!
I'm new to CPAP/APAP use.
I have a Resvent iBreeze 20A and find it difficult to deal with sudden spikes in pressure to the point of it waking me up or even if I am still awake it would randomly increase pressure rapidly to a point that it makes it impossible to keep the mask on.
I've read that many have solved this issue with firmware/software upgrade so i downloaded the latest i could find and followed instructions found here to have the machine upgrade.
When i click the upgrade button the message i get is that there are no new versions found on the SD card, it proceeds to format the card to get it ready to record therapy data.
The thing is that the version i see on the "about" tab is still V01.08.00 while the upgrade file is titled V01.11.01_21385__ESP32_HR01_HR01 so i guess that i am doing something wrong or for some reason the machine is not reading the file (named: cspr35.bin on the sd card).
Any and all pointers will be greatly appreciated.

Hi GUSPTY! -
Did you copy the V01.11.01_21385__ESP32_HR01_HR01 directory or just the Description.txt file and the cspr35.bin to the SD? I think I would try copying it both ways and see if your CPAP recognizes one of them.

Thanks for your suggestion!
I was actually able to solve the issue by re-formatting the SD card. It was formatted as ExFat and i Changed it to MS-DOS (FAT).... that did the trick!
Happy to say that the upgrade has apparently solved the issue with the aggressive bumps in pressure so far. I gave it a go with an hour and 15 nap and it went smooth!
I have done a lot of research on the different C-PAP options and find that Resvent is loaded with all the bells and whistles at a fraction of the price. The build quality is excellent and it is whisper quiet.
The negative reviews i have read mostly have to do with lack of understanding on how the machine works and how to get it to do what it can do!
I get the reluctance to embrace new things but for me it is an excellent purchase.
The one thing that might be a drawback in the US is the service because other brands have a network of places to go to solve problems but in my case (I live in PANAMA) that was not a factor as NO BRANDS provide warranty service here so i figured..... why spend a $1000+ on a machine when i can buy one that does the same for $350.... both have a risk factor that they can fail but if the latter does at least i wouldn't be out of a lot of $$$!
But my gamble worked well and with the resolution of the pressure problem with a simple software upgrade I guess my advise is not to give up on it, places like this forum are great tools to make life easier!
