Can a DME Change Airsense Settings Remotely?
[attachment=12383]For the first time in three years I was looking at my data. It only goes back to 9 Feb 18.
At the bottom on OSCARs stats chart it showed that my program was altered for two days. Now, maybe I bumped something. I sure do not remember trying to change my settings since I last tweaked them in 2015.
I cannot imagine why I would have tried setting something to CPAP from the Autoset program.
I recall my DME was disappointed that I did not register for their monitoring program. And I think this was an upsell service to tweak the settings when required.
Or am I just paranoid and forgot I fiddled with a button three days on a row 15 months ago...
Dangit, it looks like a software upgrade happened. And then my settings were redone 2 days later!

Yes, your DME can change settings remotely.

Next I'll figure out how to delete a double post. Gah.
Thanks Melman. I'm not going nuts. Shame I lost all the previous data.

Not that there’s any doubt of the accuracy of Melman’s answer, but I’ll back what he said. Yes, the DME could edit settings remotely. While on a Respironics BIPAP over 2 years ago, the pulmonary nurse had changed pressure settings on the script. I volunteered to deliver it to the local DME office. I had a copy of the script made, and changed it in the machine. I then called the DME to let them know I’d already changed settings, when the tech said that helped her by needing to do one less thing before starting her weekend (indicating remote setting edit).

The data loss is a separate issue. Changing machine settings should no result in loss of data. I've changed settings several times with no loss of data. You mentioned not looking at the data in 3 years. I assume you used Sleepyhead before. If Sleepyhead is still on your computer I suggest you check your Sleepyhead data. It's possible it didn't migrate to OSCAR.
