RE: AirCurve 10 Humidity Setting
As it turns out, This device number is 965 & batch code is 1236929 & catalog number is 37043 on my new machine which turned out to be a bad machine too! I’m done with this machine! They ordered me a new S9 VPAP Adapt which is an ASV machine too. It can’t be any worse than the three that were bad already! I sure hope it will work flawlessly! Keeping fingers & toes crossed for luck! ?

Well I got my new S9 VPAP Adapt today! It works better than those AirCurve 10s! I know I won’t have any problems with this unit. I just lost all confidence in the AirCurve after 3 failed machines! The lot batch number for the effected AirCurve 10s are 1236929! My device numbers were 986, 965 & 996. Hope this helps anyone else who has problems with the new AirCurve units.

Thanks for putting out the batch number. It should help anyone going to a DME to pick up an AirCurve so they can make sure it's not from the same batch.

I haven't used any other ASV, but I'm happy with my S9 adapt/asv. You may need to tweek your min epap and min PS to get your ahi and tidal volume/minute vent right. I have my max at it's highest available. the machine uses what it needs.
the titration guide may help

For auto-cpap, from machine data or software. You can set the min pressure 1 or 2cm below 95%. Or clinicians commonly use the maximum or 95% pressure for fixed pressure CPAP, this can also be used for min pressure.

RE: AirCurve 10 Humidity Setting
Well after a few days of the S9 Adapt, to begin with as it turned out it was NOT a new machine but a certified machine! I kept smelling an awful smell during use each night? Well the machine was used my a SMOKER! It definitely had to go! So I was delivered a brand new AirCurve straight from ResMed with a very thoughtful letter of apology along with brand new headgear & mask that I would have had to waited till February for my insurance to pay for! They also supplied me with a years stock of climateline hoses, humidifier chambers, filters and mask liners!!! They don’t know how I received those recalled machines but this new AirCurve was tested to be working 100% with no problems! I didn’t post my follow up till I was sure that the machine did actually work correctly. Well it’s been 3 nights now with NO problems! The humidity is awesome with NO rainout nor excessive moisture in my mask! I went through quite the ordeal to get to this point! Believe me, I’m not a difficult person or patient. My wife on the other hand, well most of this was through her constant supervision and on the phone to complain! I’m thankful she’s on my side and not having to deal with her ferociousness on the other end of the line! Lol I’m very happy and pleased with the AirCurve 10 because it does work awesomely now that I have a correctly working ASV machine! Once again, thank you for all of the opinions and help that I’ve received here on this forum! Smile

RE: AirCurve 10 Humidity Setting
Well, the MyAir is showing 0.0 events, which is great. Still have some mask seal improvements to make. I guess if you can create an Imgur account, upload a screenshot and give us a link you will have graduated! Congrats on finally getting the right machine. We will have to keep an eye out for that lot.
