Full face mask and spare cushion recommendation
Hi!
I am using a Resmed Cpap with Lowenstein Cara full-face mask since 6 months now. From what I read, I have to replace the cushion every 3-6 months and the entire mask every 12 months.
The problem I have is that I cannot find to buy the silicone cushion for this mask type, therefore I intend to look into other full-face mask producers for which I can also find cushion replacements.
What community can recommend as a good mask type compatible with Resmed Airsense10, for which the cushion replacements can be easily find for buying ?
Thank you.

RE: Full face mask and spare cushion recommendation
I just researched the Lowenstein Cara online. It looks like a Fisher and Paykel Vitera or Simplus (but the cushion looks smaller). Same forehead plastic clip. You can look at these masks online. The Vitera is the newest version of this mask. I have it.
You can do an internet search and just look at many different masks to see which look the most comfortable to you also. All masks should be compatible with the Resmed Airsense 10 I think.
Replacement cushions for the Vitera can be found on Amazon, Ebay, etc. *The Vitera cushion looks much bigger (total area wise) than your Lowenstein Cara mask. If anyone has any other suggestions for faine, please post. *If you decide to purchase a new, different type of mask, remember that some places have a return policy (if the mask you choose doesn't work, you can exchange it free for another mask. And some places don't have this great option. Shop carefully. You can look at our "Supplier List" link at the top of the page here at ApneaBoard to get some ideas also. I don't know if any of them ship to Romania though.
