RE: Help with APAP settings
Your revised settings seem to have helped some with your flow limitations. You might try raising your minimum pressure a bit to see if that will head off those few remaining OAs you're having. You might try 9 for 3 or 4 nights to see how that goes. If that increase makes no difference, try 9.2.
Leaks can pose two kinds of problem: one is waking you up, and the other is making it impossible for the machine to compensate for the leak. You're not having the second problem, except fleetingly. Are you having the first? If not, don't worry about the leaks.
I'd say it's time to stop taking the mask off during the night. You don't want that to develop into a habit that would be hard to break. Do you take off the mask because it's uncomfortable? If yes, can you pinpoint what makes it so?
RE: Help with APAP settings
I'll try those settings. I'm not conciously taking the mask off - I think I'm doing it in my sleep
RE: Help with APAP settings
Ah! Yes, doing that in your sleep is definitely a thing. Some people benefit from putting a strip of tape across a strap that's on their face. That way they'll feel a tug when they try to take the mask off and wake up enough to leave the mask alone. People who do this generally don't need to do it for long to retrain themselves.
Other options include putting a chin strap over the mask or a cap that ties under the chin.
