Another Bad Night
Hi folks, previously posted here - http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...k-rate-etc
Really appreciate all the help on that thread. Basically my situation is that I've been on CPAP for over a decade, I'm in my early 40s, moderately overweight and have pretty severe insomnia. I'm not in regular contact with any kind of sleep specialist for financial reasons, so I'm trying to muddle through on my own.
Something is really off with my sleep / CPAP treatment, and I have no idea what it is. Basically I regularly have nights where I wake up exhausted and with a throbbing head, mood issues, sensitivity to light etc. Similar to how I felt before any CPAP treatment. I've also experienced some snoring while wearing CPAP (although this seems to have stopped since changing my settings per advice in previous thread).
I'm not sure whether this is just insomnia, or something else like central apnea or OARs (which I don't really understand very well). Whatever the cause, it's causing significant disruption to my mood and ability to function (along side insomnia).
I've been trying to contact the clinic where I had my original sleep study to get a copy of the results (which were not provided to me initially), but no luck yet.
I've attached a screenshot from Oscar from last night.
