I scheduled an appointment at an office further away from home, because they had an earlier available appointment. When I was admitted for the class (i was the only one because the other client was a no-show).
The technician placed the device in front of me, and another technician came to the room, whom I was familiar with- and she was also confused why they required me to take the group class.
A couple of issues came up- the device was obviously not new, so I requested a new device. They said I would need to wait, since they did not have one in stock. They offered to ship it to me, to save me another trip. Also, it had a regular humidifier, not the heated humidifier with the heated tubing. I requested the heated humidifier/tubing items from my Respiratory Therapist, who told me they were ordered. But for some reason the order was not yet with Apria.
On my way home, I called Kaiser DME, and the clerk told me she has officially put it in my order. So, now we shall see what gets mailed to me, and how long it takes to arrive - hopefully sooner than anticipated
