BEWARE Snake Oil Salesmen!

I just received an email from a company which led to a link suggesting the prescribing of CPAP is a "knee jerk reaction" my the medical community, and claiming "facial exercises" and "herbal remedies"(which they sell) can cure apnea. I wanted to warn people about this dangerous misinformation!
Commercial Link Removed. You can google resperate and sleep apnea cures.

To maintain our status as an educational organization, the only commercial links allowed in this forum are to CPAP-related manufacturer websites.  This is stated in the Apnea Board Rules with details given in the Commercial Links Policy section.

Too many fake remedies for all sorts of medical issues out there... the ones that really get me peed off are the cancer "cures".

Good that you are alert to these kind of things, and have posted a reminder here, even if the link did have to be removed. ( which I fully support and agree with )

Thanks for the heads up on this, I've not encountered it yet, so I will be on the lookout for yet another incoming email link to block.
