HalfStep - Therapy Thread

RE: HalfStep - Therapy Thread
Halfstep, the new settings made the pressure much more consistent and reduced events over 50%, at least until the end of the night where things are sketchy again. Let's continue with these settings to establish a baseline, then we might look at further pressure reduction and EPR changes.

10-4. I will post more results tomorrow.

Also, should this thread be moved to the main forum, or does it matter? Thanks!

RE: HalfStep - Therapy Thread
Good morning all. I'm still battling large leaks when I am asleep and shifting positions. AHI is down, but I don't know how accurate with the large leak gaps in the data. Although, still looking improved since I made the changes Sleeprider suggested.  Thanks

Last night's data. Pretty similar to the night before. Many of the central events are definitely as I'm falling asleep and waking up.

The past several days have been pretty consistent. Seeing an odd one or two apneas during actual sleep, but most seem centered on initial wake to sleep.

The leaks are an issue, but you seem to be mostly well-treated after getting past that sleep onset transition.

RE: HalfStep - Therapy Thread
Thanks Sleeprider. I’m switching out to a larger mask tonight and have spoken to the DME about looking at other mask types if that doesn’t lessen the leaks.
