Best Software for DreamStation BiPAP S/T
Anyone know what the best software is for the DreamStation BiPAP S/T. OSCAR does't seem to see the correct pressures as my machine is set to IPAP 12/ EPAP 7. It also doesn't seem to report the correct model/type.

Oscar (and SleepyHead before it) had problems correctly parsing the data from some DreamStation models, especially the bipap and ASV models. There is a new testing release coming out soon - if you would like to participate as a tester, please see this announcement: http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-...ugust-2019 By the way, the reason programs have problems with some machines is that the manufacturers do not publish their data structures. So the developers and programmers need to work backwards from a mass of undocumented data to tease out what each item means and how they all relate together - it is not a trivial task.

A new release of OSCAR is a month or two out, and beta versions are already producing good results on Philips Dreamstation ST machines. It won't be long. If you become more active with the forum you might even consider joining the beta testing group.

I am expecting a test version that includes this machine. In 2 weeks (no promises, this is a test version) I'm expecting a version that will keep the data separate from all but testing builds. I would love to see how it performs with your machine.

Decided to go through the hassle of setting up Encore Pro Not the friendliest app in the world but at least I can compare data with Oscar. I did learn there are other data issues besides what I noticed without before having Encore.
I will keep loading data to Encore and when we have an Oscar version that’s ready I will do more comparisons. Thanks to all who put the time in!

I have only compared Mac version to Oscar. First thing I noticed was OSA’s were missing in Oscar.
