RE: Bluesv6 - Therapy Thread

Wanted to ask how to proceed , ive been making adjustments , have had issues with my card reader in my cpap machine and forgot to put the card back in  Bigwink . As well as experminitng with masks .   I went up to 11.4 fixed but would get OA  . Currently running with Apap mode , i posted fixed pressure and apap pressure .  Last night can see flow limits and pressure spikes .  Would you advise to boost up min fixed pressure ? Or work with apap ?

I am thinking fixed pressure may be better but want to control the OA , so unsure what to do . What ive seen with fixed pressure is my limits are lower and no pressure spikes of course .

Thanks for responding about the nasal gel found similar in the drugstore , need to pick some up today .

A side note  currently  using  a P30 I ,

Thanks in advance

For now, I like the static pressure, but I would raise it to 12cm. Even if you look at the Auto settings, the 95% number was 11.8cm which seemed to control the Obstructives fairly well. Keep EPR at 2.

Been running 12 and EPR of 2 , i saw one night thought id lower the epr to 1 had a horrible off and on sleep , with flow limits . its a poor chart . As I ended getting up and chart isnt great . I can post if youd like to see.  I figured FL would go up but wanted to try with constant pressure . CA went down at setting of one .

Wondering if run for a few more days ? A side note we are having snow mold and wet leaves , such a great time outside . I need to do sinus rinse all that . Is it possible sinus issues contributing to flow limits ? Wanted to mention that , as will do that tonight

thanks

I hate to see you changing pressure every night, so give it a few more days.

I noticed the FL was up, it might be caused from sinus problems.

How does the pressure at 12 feel to you?

I was thinking about maybe waiting as well but wanted your opinion as you have alot of experience.   The pressure feels pretty good ! Way better than on apap . I work a bit when first comes on 2 or 3 minutes .  If I don't go to sleep right away I have to check and make sure it's on and running as it's hard to tell !

I appreciate your help my plan is to run it over the weekend , get back on the sinus routine . Then post some screenshots next week !

My apneas are under control feel could be better with flow and what not . But sleep is alot better ! So thank you !

Posting some screenshots unsure how to proceed , i have been raising my static pressure .2 at a time and running several nights . Been using sinus rinses . I have been using a brevida mask that i ordered , with using that I have had increase in CA and some clusters . I reduced epr and even have it shut off . My flow limits are great I feel and unsure why clusters of CA ?  Unsure if its the mask causing issue or if there showing up more with the mask .

The mask is supper comfortable and have a good sleep with it , so unsure if mask is causing some CA or if its im getting into a deeper sleep ?

I do not feel like there is anything to adjust at this point ? So wanted to check in and get your thoughts ?

The CA's are up a bit, but I can't see that the mask would be the cause. Actually, the CA's have been up and down. Anyway, the mask seems to be a good fit, so I'd stick with it.

The 12.6 pressure might be a little too much. Remember, higher pressures can cause CA's to rise too. You can back off to 12cm and watch that for a day or two, or stay where you're at and keep tabs on the CA's. Keep EPR off for now.

This just may be a balancing act, as EPR helps with FL, Hypopnea, but can also trigger more CA's. The Obstructives seem to be under control.
