RE: Brand new user - AHI is good but I'm EXHAUSTED!
I'm 15 months into my sleep apnea therapy. Still waiting to feel better. Gotta admit, I sleep just as well at night w/o my CPAP machine as I do with it.
But, I'm not giving up just yet. I'm holding out for two years. That will be in early Sept. / 2020. My sleep doc knows I'm disappointed, but he says I'm doing fine, and tells me to keep at it.
I have an appt. with him again in early May. I will then tell him about my two year plan.

Big Guy, other things besides apnea can mess with our sleep, and by avoiding desats and such, we lower important risks to our long term health. Lots of stuff to weigh in the balance at that two-year mark....

Hi Michelle.
I have struggled with sleep apnea and the treatments for it, for a looong time. This board is the first time I have ever received the support I was sorely lacking. Now, after one month, (if you read my main two threads you will see my case has been quite the challenge), TONIGHT is the first time I have made it to 11:00 at night not feeling like I'd pass out and die from lack of sleep. I still have some work to do with my PAP treatment, and since my advisors on this board are willing to continue helping me, I KNOW things will be much, much better than ever.
Keep at it!
Relative Newbie,
