Breathing Not Detected
I thought my charts were looking pretty good until a few days ago! (My last good one and yesterday's are attached.) I started seeing a lot of breathing not detected and very ugly stuff on the Flow Rate chart. I've tried a few things...rebooting, checking connections (found one - hose not fully attached), and lastly I found there was a small leak in the tubing. I switched to a backup tube yesterday, but today's chart looks about the same. The backup tube isn't new; it's a partially used one that I saved "just in case". I can't recall the exact length of time I had used it before but I think it was a month or so but that could be totally wrong.
I'm hoping you all can help as I really don't want to call Apria.

RE: Breathing Not Detected
I just experienced this myself and mine was similar to yours. Mine was due to large air leaks. I had not breathing for over 28 minutes in one section and it concerned me greatly. You're in a great group and someone with more experience will reply and give you the answers you need.

I don't blame you on not wanting to call Apria. I have them as well as my DME, but I may need to switch.
OK onward to the issue. It appears as you may have had a large space of time where the upper line for the leak rate was nearing 70 and held rather steady for a while. This could have played havoc with the machine's ability to operate properly. There is something in the circuit that is the leak culprit is one guess. I'd check all connections, humidifier seals, and the hose for damage of some sort.

I would be most concerned about your horrible leakage. You're machine acts like a leaf blower.

RE: Breathing Not Detected
My "leaf blower" machine is now under control! I believe the problem was largely due to a very dirty pollen filter. Thank you for suggesting to check everything out!
I made changes over several days to determine what was causing the problem. Day 1 - Checked all connections and changed the nasal pillow. Even though I had only used it for 8 days, it wore like it was a month old. This helped a little. Day 2 - Received and installed a new hose. This helped some as well. Day 3 - Replaced the O2 line. This was the scheduled replacement day; didn't notice any difference. Day 4 - Replaced the pollen filter and Eureka! This made a very big difference! The pollen filter was way overdue for replacement. I can't believe I overlooked it as my CPAP spreadsheet indicated everything was up to date. But... I had somehow hidden the row that showed the pollen filter was due for a change on 4/28/20. Big oops! It was over 3 months overdue. Big lesson learned!

Glad it's fixed.
