RE: Bugs in the CPAP
A heads-up about the Mint family plants; They are a very invasive plant and will try to takeover everywhere.

No, walking on my arm. When I found the centipede it was hiding in the bed frame. Hence, the concern. It could have been hiding anywhere.

I plan to buy an end plate (thanks for the suggestion), and leave the mask attached. I have a cat and a dog, hence, the removal during the day. I have spares if they tear them up.
CPAP is a journey like “The Wizard of Oz”. It’s a long slow journey. You will face many problems and pick up many friends along the way. Just because you reach the poppies, it doesn’t mean you are in Kansas.

The end plate still leaves an outlet opening to attach a hose. Why not just slip the machine in a zip-lock bag?

In truth this is just something I never worried about, and probably won't. I think you have already exterminated your problem.
