[CPAP] Airsense 10 heated humidifier does not work

Hi all,
I have just received my new Airsense 10 CPAP for a week.The tube is just the standard slim line. In the 1st and 2nd night, the water level was not changed. In the 3rd night, i tried to warm it and it seems working because the level was reduced 50% of the tub in the 3rd night. Then the 4th and 5th the water level was not changed again and the heated plate was a bit warm. Can you please advise me how to solve the problem.
P.S. I bought the CPAP from US, but now i am not in US. I would like to try as much as i can first.

I don't think there is a problem with the machine as such
Water use depend on humidity levels setting, higher leak rates and mouth leaks can also use more water

I tried to touch the heated plate. Sometime it was warm but some time was not. Is that normal?
