I seem to have a similar problem too. I bought one that was the shortest one I could find yet still fit the circumstance I needed. It was still too tall. Hated it. I had thoughts of slicing it open and trimming it to fit. Haven’t tried that yet but it is on my list of things to do.

Thanks for confirming the possibility I can get one that I can tolerate.
I just ordered a 2.3 inch tall collar on Amazon This is the Title on my order: Core Products Foam Black Cervical Collar - 2 Inches Chin to Sternal Notch - it says it fits neck size from 11 inches to 21 inches After I try it I will let you know.
