Brand New to all of this and not sure how to read OSCAR results
Hello Everyone!! 45yo Male. Was diagnosed with mixed sleep apnea back in 2021, with most of my apneas being Central at 43 pAHi and my Obstructives at 20ish pAHI on top of Cheyne-Stokes respirations being recorded for 51 percent of the nigh.  Lofta put me on a CPAP and used it a handful of times before ripping the mask off and finally giving up. Recently I started using it again and was upgraded to the AirCurve 10 VAUTO. My local Dr tried to sign me up for an in lab sleep study years ago but I could not commit due to small children at home and wife working crazy weird hours overnight.

I have been doing alot of research on realize i need to be on an ST machine or an ASV. I recently downloaded OSCAR but have no idea what I am looking at. I know i need a different machine but have this AirCurve 10 at the moment and not sure the settings I should have it on. I was prescribed IPAP 8, EPAP 25, PS 4 cm H20..i have played with it a little and it is set at Max IPAP 14, Min EPAP 7.2, PS 4 with ramp off and seems to have dropped my events to 4.2 according to MyAir not sure if that good or not but that why I am here to get advice from all of you who have much more experience than i have. Not exactly sure what to even upload but i will try and if i have to i will screen shot the graphs..Thanks!

We need to see the left column with the daily charts. I have a link in my signature (bottom of the post) for the charts we need to see.

Because we don’t have the left column I don’t know if you have changed the trigger setting. We have found that setting the trigger setting to very high will help with centrals.

It would help us help you if you posted Oscar charts differently.  You can use the F12 button to copy your chart, then make sure we can read to the very bottom of the flow limits.

Here is what you should end up with on the charts:

Event Flags
Flow Rate
Pressure
Leak Rate
Flow Limits

The left panel will be better as well.  Smile
Machine:  ResMed AirCurve 10 Vauto
Mask:  Bleep DreamPort Sleep Solution

On your second chart, bottom left column, you show a Trigger setting of Medium.

Change that to Very High and repost tomorrow.  You should see a difference in the CA's.
