[CPAP] Help understanding Oscar Data
#11
RE: Help understanding Oscar Data
CSR is actually periodic breathing, and in your case with CSA diagonsis is likely due to "loop-gain" which is an alternately hyperventilation and hypoventilation, often with a CA event. https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph...entilation Cheyne Stokes respiration is a specific pattern of periodic breathing, and it's very unlikely you have it. If you want us to look at a zoomed image for a better analysis, provide a zoomed image of about 5-minutes of the CSR flagged event.

You are probably on the wrong device, but as I said, we can work with CPAP in spite of its limitation; however at the end of 30 days, or when you follow up with your doctor, your prevalent central apnea combined with the primarily CA events in your diagnostic study will likely point to a need for ASV. We need to back off further on pressure and EPR, so let's move it down to minimum pressure 5.0, Maximum pressure 7.0 and EPR 1.

RE: Help understanding Oscar Data
Your chart is much easier to read when you post just the five lines:

Event Flags
Flow rate
Pressure
Leak Rate
Flow limits

This is how you posted your first chart, which is the preferred chart arrangement.  Smile
