[CPAP] How Resmed Airsense 10 can have exact time without 3G wireless module?

Hello, I'm a newbie for this forum, and many thanks for full of information from you guys. 
Few days ago i've purchased Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset model ref.37029 (Not 37209) very weird model code for foreign customers that is being officially distributed by really suck Korean official distributors.
From my information this specific model doesn't include Modem module for wireless aka 3G WCDMA that is advised by Korean distributor company.
(Or it still has the module, but blocked from the firmware and cannot be activated/enabled by customers, i don't know, the distributor doesn't know too. very un-professional)

Now i've one question that How this machine can recognize the current time without any wireless connectivity. when i use Resscan, the data contains its accurate time that i feel scared, it's horrible.

This machine never has the setting option for 'Airplane mode' because it's always Airplane mode (no wireless connection function is serviced, so doesn't have the option clause as 'Airplane mode'), so that I cannot expect how it's going to have exact time for recording to inserted sd card.
Furthermore of course surely the machine doesn't have setting function for current time.
I can expect that the equipped time clock is pre-set from the factory, maybe this is the only way to have current time by the machine.
however in this case the manufacturer had to put the setting option to modify/set the time because the quartz also has the average error approx. 5-10min a year and in case of losing the coin battery(if the machine has internal clock)...

Anyone knows about it? kindly advise.

You have to set the machine clock in the clinic menu. Push the Home button and and large control knob in at the same time and hold for 5 seconds. This will bring up the menu you need.

That is strange. Well at least to me. I thought that only the North American ResMed models have the CDMA module and a GSM module is used everywhere else. . . News to me. Thanks for the information.

Like Walla Walla said, the clock is internal and is fully adjustable from the clinician menu.

Hello Thanks for your reply that is truly correct and i feel shame on me that's why im newbie pls understand  i already knew that hidden function to adjust many things... 

Now i've last question that is there really no possibility to use the AirView service from my machine...?
It's really insane for me that if I purchase from USA distributor and import by myself, the cellular option is working really well (my friend uses it as is) EVEN in Korea with Korean mobile carrier with WCDMA which is SKT who is in service with WCDMA Band 1 (2.1ghz) & LTE...
I can expect its meaning that Resmed & SKT both already had a kind of contract to connect WCDMA service...

but the officially distributed machine with ref. 37029, it cannot be...
even i paid for mafia distributor usd approx. 2,200.

If you are referring to being able to use MyAir, it is basically a "feel-good" program. If you wish to actually monitor your sleep data and manage your apnea, use #SleepyHead. The forum's Wiki has detailed documentation on understanding it, as well as, many here have a very good insight in optimizing your treatment based off of the #SleepyHead data.

I too, have the ResMed AirSense AutoSet 10. Does it have any kind of a battery back-up to preserve the correct time if the machine is unplugged, or if there is a power-outage?

From what I can tell, it doesn't. When I received mine, I went to my DME to get it. I brought it home and plugged it in, not even thinking about having to set the proper time. 

Now that I am thinking about it, I'm wondering about it.

Their must be a battery somewhere inside, because mine loses time constantly, but never when I unplug it for travel. What it does lose during a power failure is the averaging period; it always resets to 30 days from the 1 day that I set it to.

There is a plate on the bottom of mine that looks to be removable. I haven't gone to the trouble of doing that, but maybe a 9v battery lurks inside.

I would guess the battery is like the kind used for cell phones.
