I certainly agree that it happens. One night not too long ago when I was having trouble falling asleep, I tried using the ramp feature again. It was set to start at 4 cmH2O, and I practically ripped the mask off, got up, and spent the next few minutes wide awake adjusting the minimum ramp pressure so that would never happen again.

On the other hand, you are comfortable at 12 cmH2O, suffocating at 4 cmH2O, but fine at 0 cmH2O (ie. no mask).

Truth is stranger than fiction, because fiction has to make sense!
