My question is really if there is a device that is considered the go to one when deciding on what to buy to measure your O2 level?

What O2 measurement device do you recommend?
I am new to using CPAP and still trying to find my way around but I have read some comments about measuring O2 levels which sounds very helpful in monitoring how you sleep and if you get enough oxygene.
My question is really if there is a device that is considered the go to one when deciding on what to buy to measure your O2 level?

My "go-to" pulse-ox measurement device is the integrated ResMed kit for the S10 -- including the ResMed adapter for S10 (does not work with other devices), the Nonin 3012LP pulse-ox device, finger probe, and cables. Pricey but tested and reliable for use with ResMed's ResScan software or OSCAR. These items are not usually covered by insurance unless you can prove it's a medical necessity and of critical importance.
I am sure other forum members will note that there are much cheaper solutions on the market. Best of luck. Steve

Look for an overnight recording oximeter.
The following are compatible with OSCAR: https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.ph..._Oximeters I use the Viatom/Wellue O2Ring. It works well for my needs as I only use it on occasion just as a check every now and then.

I am sorry but I am not sure I completely understand but is there an oxymeter integrated in the ResMed CPAP machine or possible to buy? I have an ResMed AirSense 10, is there a link to this device? Or did you mean the "Nonin 3012LP" is this device? Also after making the post I came to think that I actually have a device I bought that measures sleep apnea and it also measures O2 level so perhaps I could just use that but without the tube that goes into the nose? There is a program with the device to analyze the data that is called "ResMon" but not sure it is compatible with OSCAR (unless someone know?) This is the measurement device: https://www.gimaitaly.com/prodotti.asp?s...ept_id=560 Also the ResMon program do show all the graphs and I created a report in it from my latest measurement that looks like this if it is possible to analyze my O2 level? I am not completely sure what to look for but among other things it reads Min SPO2 85% and average SPO2 95%. Also I think if I read it correctly that I had 4 "events" where my O2 was below 90% and the total time below 90% was 17 seconds I think. Is it possible to say what value is "normal" and what value(s) I should look at to see if any changes I make improve or decrease my O2 quality?

The image link you provided has a display similar to a Contec 50 series recording oximeter. You will need to check the raw data file for a ".SpO2" extension. If so, you may be able to manually import that file into OSCAR. If you see it is a ".SpO2" file, don't get your hopes up too high until you actually try to import it. It wouldn't be the first time a manufacturer used the same name type and modified the output.
