RE: ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset Auto Ramp and Tubing Blocked Problems
It would be interesting to see the results from the night with Autoset pressure. When I make a suggestion like that, the first setting is only the beginning. The objective is to compare many different aspects of your results to help opt, or even validate your prescription settings. Was the Autoset more comfortable or your current fixed pressure?
You say your median pressure was only 9.22. Increasing the maximum pressure from 12 to 16 is not going to raise your pressure because in Autoset mode the machine only goes as high as necessary. Your doctor prescribed a pressure higher than you need, and I suspect it is very near your maximum pressure needs which is why I used that as the upper bounds for the range. It is a rare day that I can’t identify setting that are both more effective and comfortable than the doctor.

"It is a rare day that I can’t identify setting that are both more effective and comfortable than the doctor." CornishPD, Sleeprider is speaking the plain truth; I've seen it over and over again.
RE: ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset Auto Ramp and Tubing Blocked Problems
Last night I did lower my Max pressure from 16 to 14 and will continue to adjust these settings. I have an appointment with my sleep doc in a couple of weeks so I have a chance to get his input on the autoset feature.
Based on last night's results I think I have confirmed there is a problem with the machine as with my new tube I once again got the Tube blocked message. I only noticed it once but when I looked at the OSCAR analysis I saw that there were 3 periods that the machine was not operating. I assume that if I don't select OK when the message is up that the machine won't restart. This may not be accurate as I only noticed the message once and selected OK to restart. This also helped me understand that the machine is probably reporting usage hours correctly as there are very significant time periods that the machine is not operating.
Today I will contact DME supplier to determine my options.

So you’re going to do this the hard way.
RE: ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset Auto Ramp and Tubing Blocked Problems
Just my 2 cents - after 25 years of using Cpap and BiPAP the sleep drs (I have had 4) never did as much as asking this group of experts how to change my settings. They can give you EXPERT advise every day for a week that would take 20 office visits and more than a year of going to Drs for them to make changes.

Sleeprider I will set max back to 12 and will let you know how it goes. I talked to DME and my guess with tube blocking issue I will have to get a new machine before I can get through a whole night when the machine is working.

If you have insurance that will pay for it GREAT but if you have to pay out of pocket look at the suppliers list at the top of this website (shopping cart) and look at #2. I bought an almost new machine for far less than the DME cost. A new Autoset for 589 a low low hour used one is 389. I bought a unit here with less than one month use. One year warranty.

I have never experienced the tube blocked error. I hope you will keep us posted on what this is.

I just noticed, but never knew you were an actual गुरु. Just thought you're really good with xPAP's.
