I have been on CPAP therapy for around a year and recently discovered this wonderful little rabbit hole of data analysis with Oscar, so I'm hoping someone here can help improve my results with some suggestions.
Background: Diagnosed 1 year ago, AHI was 31 when on my back, 16 on my side, but strangely that night was one of the best nights sleep I've had in years so suspect a normal night is much worse. The CPAP has stopped me waking up confused every 30mins, but I wouldn't say I feel refreshed from sleep, still have the brain fog and fatigue, and regularly have 25-30 second apneas as reported by Oscar.
I have been slowly upping the lower pressure, from 4 to 7.6 so far. I did try jumping to 8 but struggled with the sudden change and changed it back midway through the night, so thinking that slow and steady increases to flatten the pressure curve is the way.
Your most recent median pressures have been almost 10, so you should be able to tolerate 8.4 for your start pressure easily.
You need to turn off ramp. After about a year you certainly don't need it. In addition, you get no real treatment during ramp, and any time you turn the machine back on ramp starts again, robbing you of necessary treatment.
I also suggest you raise EPR to 3 to help lower your flow limits and make your breathing more comfortable.
Again, welcome, and good luck with improving your therapy and comfort!
Yes, tighten it up, I agree with Deborah, 7.0-11.0 may work well, and I also agree about turning off ramp.
Everything else looks pretty nice. Unless I'm misreading your first graph, you are already at EPR=3. Do that for a few days and see how you feel and how your numbers react. Not too much flow limit or leaks,
