ResMed Airsense 10 discontinued? Rumour from sleep apnea subreddit
Saw a post on reddit.com/r/sleepapnea (can't share link because I'm a new member but would be happy to share with an admin to edit post, or someone can share the link below) that a user posted citing an email from their DME stating the 10 is being discontinued and orders would be filled with 11s with an additional delay. Copying the body here for ease of reading:

Quote:Hello,
We know you're excited to receive the world's smartest CPAP that you pre-ordered within the last few weeks. Due to the global CPAP shortage, we gave you an estimated window of when new AirSense 10s would be available to us and subsequently you. And when your order was placed, we were working under the information that ResMed would continue its production and shipping of AirSense 10s to retailers like us as needed. However, they have now announced that the AirSense 11 will be available to the public, not just hospitals. And at the same time they have stopped all production of AirSense 10s to focus on filling the need for AirSense 11s. This means we will not be receiving any more AirSense 10s. As such, we will be sending you an AirSense 11 instead, to replace the AirSense 10, with no action needed on your part, and at no extra charge ($999 value CPAP). This may also include an additional delay in receiving your order but we will keep you updated and send over tracking information as soon as your order ships out.
We are sad to say goodbye to the AirSense 10, but we're even more excited to provide the AirSense 11, as it has everything the AirSense 10 had and more, including:

• Color touchscreen: The AirSense 11 utilizes an intuitive color touchscreen to navigate menus and settings, available at the press of a finger.

• Personal Therapy Assistant: Great for those that are uncomfortable falling asleep to CPAP, Personal Therapy Assistant helps acclimate you to CPAP therapy.

• Care Check-In: Receive tailored guidance through key milestones in your treatment journey with easy to answer questions on the device or in your MyAir app

Has anyone heard anything similar? I'm on a waitlist for a 10 and an additional delay would be very unfortunate. Also not sure if 11s are compatible with OSCAR yet - guess I need to check the list!

OSCAR does support the AirSense 11, although the time zone setting may or may not be correct. The data dislay is correct.

Oh that's awesome to hear pholynyk. Kudos to the dev team. Maybe it's time I learn some C++ so I can contribute some PRs.
