Resmed S9 last night data
Hi all,
I have not had a review of my SA for a few years.
Due to a recent major medical episode I now have a new specialist.
Yesterday afternoon at around 3:30pm he pressed the info button on my S9 Autoset and it showed no data. I check it every morning (that day I checked it a 7am and it showed duration and AHI.
However, the display only lasts for a few hours, never actually timed it, but it has gone by the end of the day. The specialist seems to think it should remain all day.
I am not sure he is correct. I cannot recall ever seeing that data remain for more than a few hours.
Thoughts?

Is there a SD card in the slot?

Hi Steve,
The Resmed machine's day runs from Noon to Noon. At 3:30pm, it was set up for the evening sleep session. It sounds like this person is not too familiar with the equipment.

Thanks, that makes sense. I sort of figured that the specialist did not know what he was doing with the machine.
Do you know if it is possible to change the machine's day?
Regards,
Steve
RE: Resmed S9 last night data
Hi Steve,
I've never seen such a setting, or read any post where such was discussed. There have been posts from folks where they have odd sleep or work schedules, such that the Noon to Noon setup was less than ideal, and I don't recall any suggestions that the machine's day could be changed. So I think the answer is No.

These little puppies have a battery in them like a computer. Its life expectancy is around 5 or 6 years. When the battery goes bad and you interrupt the power to the unit, all info is lost.
