CPAP Settings correct?

CPAP Settings correct?
Hello,

I would like to ask this forums if my settings are correct? I have the Nasal pillows p10, resmed air sense 10. I currently work graveyard, so don't mind the time that I am going to bed. After about 1-3 hours of using the CPAP, I have the natural tendency to just rip it off my face and sleep like a baby afterwards. But never feeling rested at all.

I think before hand, a few months ago I actually got to the point where I made 8 hours of sleep a couple times. But now my body just wakes up in the middle of the night, amped on adrenaline and when I take the mask off my face, it feels so much better.

Do I have the right settings currently? What could I do differently?

Thank you,

RE: CPAP Settings correct?
With settings at 10-16, EPR 3 you seem to be getting good therapy results for the hours you are using the machine. The habit of pulling off the mask and sleeping without the machine compromises any benefits you might otherwise realize. The increase in pressure and EPR seems to have improve results. I don't see other setting changes that I would recommend with these good results, however you do need to change your behavior of ripping off the mask and sleeping without therapy. There is no evidence in these charts of an adrenaline surge or respiratory issues that would contribute to stress, so that problem may be external to the therapy. It might be useful to see a zoomed image of the minutes before that arousal to see if we can see anything that might be disrupting sleep. Best advise is to discipline yourself to re-establish therapy by putting the mask back on. As long as you "reward" yourself with therapy discontinuation, you will certainly continue to do it.
