RE: Resmed ASV vs Respironics ASV
That's fair. You have been a member since 2013 with only 2-posts, so thought I'd ask. I might argue that
OSCAR can give better detailed therapy information, whether you use a Resmed ASV or Philips, but the Philips does have 30 cm on board vs 25 for Resmed. Are you in the market for used, or only new? A new, in-box, Dreamstation AutoSV is being sold on DotMed for $849.
RE: Resmed ASV vs Respironics ASV
Does anyone have any knowledge of the BMC E-20A (from China, I think)?
What's its PAP Link s/w like?
RE: Resmed ASV vs Respironics ASV
Thanks. I am looking at DotMed.
I should be happy to consider 2nd hand. I do not want to lose anything when moving from a ResMed ASV.
Another problem is I'm British, which means I have to pay 20% duty (replacement sales tax) on imports and I've dealt with a supplier in Leeds, UK, called SelfiMed, which I personally regard to be a Grade F crook.
RE: Resmed ASV vs Respironics ASV
I'm not sold on BMC devices, and their software is weak. DotMed is pretty good and a number of members have provisioned advanced PAP machines from them. The Philips I was looking at was for new-in-box AutoSV machines. Most of the sales I have see have been for Aircurve 10 ASV. The DotMed vendors certainly vary, and I recommend looking for reputation on the site.
