RE: Problem with FlashPAP and FlashAir
OK, I got bored and ran tests on the same data using FlashPAP as the transport. My card is about 25 feet away from the AP. I ran two tests on each setting, one with noise canceling set to 0 and then set to 1. Here are my results:
. . . no animals were harmed during these tests.

RE: Problem with FlashPAP and FlashAir
Not bad. No one but us geeks would appreciate that though
and you have way too much time on your hands man.. get a hobby.
RE: Problem with FlashPAP and FlashAir
Interesting. So noise cancel helps with N, but hurts with G. Strange.
RE: Problem with FlashPAP and FlashAir
Are the TX/RX, actual throughput, or reported speed?
RE: Problem with FlashPAP and FlashAir
The Tx and Rx were sampled during a data download. Otherwise they go to 1 / 26.
RE: Problem with FlashPAP and FlashAir
Thanks all for your help. I finally got it all working.

Hmm..so I was going to try Noise Cancel on my unit, but then I went to the developers guide and it shows that Noise_Cancel=2, is the correct setting. So putting a 1, isn't actually doing anything other than the default right?

RE: Problem with FlashPAP and FlashAir
Thanks! I guess I was thinking in binary. I'll give it another try later.
