I set one to prevent changes, now would like to remove it as I don’t think I need in any more. I know my pin, just not how to remove it. Tried all the logical things I could. Thanks.
In case anyone else has also looked unsuccessfully for this information, here is how you reset or remove a known PIN:
-enter Provider mode by pressing and holding Ramp and Select buttons and entering the PIN;
-go to Device mode within Provider menu;
-press and hold Ramp and Select
again and enter the PIN
again;
-chose clear or change PIN;
-exit back to patient mode.

My machine sends to the DME every day. They have never made any mods to my machine. Of course my readings have always been good so there wouldn’t be any reason to change.

For those of us with PR DreamStation machines, I suspect the modem also receives cellular time data and update the current clock in the machine. I say this, because I've never noticed clock drift in this machine compared to the PR System One machine it replaced.
I also found that when I import oximetry data to OSCAR, the start/stop times between the machine and oximetry data align within a few seconds of each other.
So, there may be a benefit to allowing the cellular modem to talk and listen to the mother ship.
