[CPAP] setting up S9 Escape Auto with H5i Humidifier

setting up S9 Escape Auto with H5i Humidifier
Hi Friends,

I had stopped using my machine for some time. Now again due to weight gain and breathing problem I have started using it. I am not able to get the right setting and find difficulty in breathing. It is an auto CPAP but I find it is not pushing sufficient air and I get up after couple of hours and  take long time to get back to sleep. It is as if I am not using machine. Am I doing some thing wrong. Please advise what can I do to sleep well.

Thanks and regards.

Sincerely

RK Dutta

RE: setting up S9 Escape Auto with H5i Humidifier
Hi RK Dutta,
If you know your prior settings, set the minimum at least 1cm higher than what you used.  Also set the EPR to 1 or 2 to help when you are exhaling.

Here is a link to order the Clinician's Manual in case you don't have one.

How long have you had your machine? It may be time to upgrade.

If possible you might want to buy a recording oximeter so you can check your O2 levels during the night.
