RE: Too much STATIC showing in OSCAR Flow Rate
Does anyone have a suggested change to my settings that may begin to reduce the 'comb-like' flow rate?
As you can see it has been an issue for quite some time.
Thank you in advance for your assistance

RE: Too much STATIC showing in OSCAR Flow Rate
You have a great AHI but you have very high flow limits. FL are apnea also they are just not long enough to be (10 seconds in length). The problem is we use EPR to limit them and you are maxed out at 3.

You could raise the min by one and see if that works.

I suggest you calculate your expected tidal volume based on your MBI. See the details on this forum/wikipedia. Your current tidal volume might be higher than the normal one, which might give some clues about your problem.

Thanks, G.
Always enjoy bits of a science project.
And was hopeful to find a key under this rock, but nada.
Assuming I uncovered the correct formula, then my expected tidal volume is between 409 and 900 ml.
(body weight in Kg * 6 then * 8)
With the CPAP, the EPR on 3 results in an effective PS of 3.  Definitely not too high.

Will try 'raising the min by one and see if that works.', per StaceyBurke

Thanks,
PappaJoe
