Can I buy just the Airsense 10 Motor replacement part?
My 5 year old Resmed Airsense 10 recently started doing the loud whining noises.
Unusable as it.
After reading all of the great posts here, I successfully took the machine apart, down to the whining bare motor in hand. I tried all of the cleaning recommendations, Q-Tips, etc. Cleaning didn't seem to solve the noise problem for me.
I looked at getting a new Resmed Airsense 10 or 11 thru insurance but there's a big supply problem right now, months in backorder.

Several online vendors advertise the AirSense 10 Autoset cloud-to-cloud machine (no modem) for $913 and I believe delivery is normal timeframe. Or you could seek a gently used low-hour machine.

srlevine1---thanks so much for your post. My s10 "for her" is about a year old. I'll keep this as a reference. (The S11 came out shortly after I bought my S10FH.)

I have never done it, but I understand that you can replace the bearings instead of the whole blower.

RE: Can I buy just the Airsense 10 Motor replacement part?
Original poster. Update fyi. My DME has me scheduled for late November delivery to receive a new ResMed Airsense 11. Since that is over 2 months from now, and because I have doubts on that delivery date, I decided to double down on my options and get an estimate on a REPAIR for my 5+ year old ResMed 10.
https://cpap-repair.com The repair is probably going to cost about $275. In the long run I'll end up with a spare working CPAP machine.
RE: Can I buy just the Airsense 10 Motor replacement part?
I bought my S10 about a month before the new machines came out. So I appreciate your post and follow up. Mine will be around a while. And I put 21,000 hours on the second hand S9E I had before.

Original poster. Update fyi. The repair estimate for my broken Resmed 10 was for a whopping $475. No way I'm paying that much. I was initially under the impression that cost would be ~250-275. Feels like a bait-n-switch. So I "declined" the estimate. That estimate was from https://cpap-repair.com aka Altra CPAP Repair, a Florida & Connecticut company, aka https://altraservice.com/.
The good news is that I'm still scheduled by my DME to receive a new Resmed 11 in a couple of weeks.
