Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and how they fixed it.
My head gear is about 6 months young and it gets washed on a monthly basis
Any feed back would be helpful

Chaffing below ears from straps
Hi All, after being on CPAP machine for 9 years I have been getting chaffing on the neck, below the ears where the full face mask straps wrap around.
Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and how they fixed it. My head gear is about 6 months young and it gets washed on a monthly basis Any feed back would be helpful
Happy sleeping

RE: Chaffing below ears from straps
You may find some relief trying something from this supplier.
[Commercial Link Removed] Supplier #31 They offer a good variety of strap covers in different materials. -----

RE: Chaffing below ears from straps
Hi, I was having similar trub, discovered my velcro wasn't matching up with the other layer and it was like sandpaper, had to reposition the velcro so there was no overlapping.
Hope this helps you

RE: Chaffing below ears from straps
Thanks guys, I have made up some strap covers from the material you put into drawers to stop things moving around.
Cut it into strips about 100mm or 4 inches long x 60mm or 2 inches wide. Folded it over the straps and stapled it together down the long side. Cheap fix and seems to do the trick
Happy sleeping
