RE: Chart Review Help
I've still been struggling with sleep inertia the past two days with min. pressure at 10. I actually had really good sleep on the day I had it set on 12, but I'm not sure if that is an isolated event or if my sleep is actually better on that pressure because I was only on it for one night. Should I continue to titrate up a little more?

OSCAR charts always help guide these decisions. Standard daily details in a screenshot as a new attachment in the post.

RE: Chart Review Help
Hi, I slept with min. pressure at 12 last night, but I don't know what to make of the chart. I am still experiencing events at pressures at 13+. Does this mean I need high pressure to further eliminate events? And at what point is the expiratory pressure too much and when should I consider Bipap? Do you guys have any advice? Thank you!

RE: Chart Review Help
Your last chart may be be showing positional apneas, pressure alone will not help that.   If you are sleeping on your back try sleeping on your side and see if that helps.

RE: Chart Review Help
Thanks, if it is positional apnea and pressure can't help it do you have any tips for sleeping in a better position? Here is my data from last night with settings kept the same. Min. Pressure at 12cm, EPR at 3. I had less event clusters, but I feel like I slept pretty terribly still. Also how often should I titrate up?

RE: Chart Review Help
Self Titration, possibly wait several days to find a trend in the data.

Physical body position does play a part in Positional Apnea to this extent. Back sleeping for example with thick pillows gives you the forced chin down look, somewhat like Grandpa sleeping in the big recliner with head flopped onto his chest. The soft cervical collar might help block that.

Side sleeping, you could still chin tuck. Maybe use a spare corner of the pillow tucked between your chin and chest to restrict it a bit.

I think you likely do need a bilevel machine.  I went through this with flow limits that would not come down and having to increase pressure constantly.  I was advised that I needed a bilevel, and through a very long thread SleepRider helped me prepare to talk to my doctor and I eventually received my wonderful new ResMed AirCurve 10 Vauto late last year.

In case you are interested in the thread here's a link:
