I have been treated for apneas using a ResMed AirSense10 since June 2017 with near perfect compliance over this period. I have been recording my sleep information using Sleepyhead software in late 2018 and then switching to Oscar when Sleepyhead was no longer being supported. During that time I would show almost equal numbers of obstructive and central apneas most nights with an average AHI of about 3.5 for an 8 hr sleep. I have occasionally, though rarely, had an AHI at or near 10 but a normal month would see a maximum AHI of around 5.0. I have also a registered around 10 CS events per year with an expectation of about 1 per month. Over the past 16 nights I have registered 5 separate CS events which is definitely outside my typical readings. My question is: is this recent change something that I should be concerned about?
Resmed labels all periodic breathing as CSR and is normally wrong. This is a big concern for people seeing this event flag and I wish Resmed would change their label to periodic breathing. The Oscar software is true to its stated name: Open Source CPAP Analysis Reporter, and uses the same terminology and event labels as the manufacturer. I can nearly assure you that CSR is not a problem for you, however if you want a more specific answer, attach a chart.

The CSR flag is used by Resmed for all forms of periodic breathing. We would need to zoom in to a resolution or length of time displayed to 3-4 minutes so we can see what is happening to the flow rate. I see a strong indication of positional obstructive apnea with clusters of OA at 01:00, 02:30 and 04:23. I know you are more concerned about the centrals, but we want to be sure we are not actually dealing with a positional obstructive problem. That can happen, and the events get flagged s central when obstruction is incomplete, and respiratory effort makes the airway appear open to the machine. The fact your inspiration time is longer than expiration time is another indicator that the problem is obstructive rather than central.
