Choosing an Oximeter

I have had a good experience and good data from the Contec CMS50F. I would also commend you to Kevin Cooper - Vendor #19. The prices were competitive with the lowest I could find elsewhere, and when I did run into a problem in switching to a new laptop (years ago - WIN 7) and had troubles with the data (had been in XP), Kevin spent hours trying top figure out why it wasn't working. FYI - works fine with Win 10.

Some posts in this thread give the impression that the CMS50I works well with all versions of SleepyHead. Several of us have posted that direct import from CMS50i to the latest (1.0.0-Beta-2) version of SH gives an oximeter trace that will not sync properly with the sleep data. (Despite the impression the SH help file gives. And at least one post above alludes to this problem. The issue has been logged into the SH bugtracker.) The CMS50I can be read with the accompanying spO2 Assistant software, but I've found that the beta-2 SH will not import the downloaded spO2 file.
