Cleaning Airsense 10

Cleaning Airsense 10
Hey guys,

I was just wondering do any of you wipe down your airsense or cpap machine with a damp towel cloth?

I see a lot of dust accumulating but not sure if I should wipe it down...

Thanks.

Consider it like any thing else you would dust.

I have a soft dusting cloth or even a swifter cloth and dust it once a week along with the night stand and anything else that is showing dust.

And don't forget to change the filter at least once or twice a month.

What about cleaning the humidifier water tray?
I've had to take a toothbrush and hack saw the handle to fit in there.
Horrible design to cleaning.  The s9 was so much easier to clean.

Pour some white vinegar in it and let it sit for 30 min. or so, then flush with water I've been using tap water now for over two years and no problems.

Each morning, I empty the reservoir, wipe it dry with a paper towel, then leave the lid up so it can completely air dry. It's the same reservoir that came with my machine over three years ago.

Just a note! I only use some white vinegar when mineral deposits show up. Not every day.

To piggyback the tap water suggestion if you don't want to deal with any mineral deposits use distilled water which is of course what's recommended. Its so cheap (anywhere from .99 -1.29 US/gallon here) the choice is easy for me. I never have to clean the tub. Just dump out any remaining water in the AM and then turn it upside down with the top and bottom inverted like an upside down V to air dry.

I do the same with distilled water only.  I top-off whatever water is used from the previous night.  At the end of the week (Sunday), I completely dump the reservoir tank and check for all mineral deposits. It’s usually very clean.  Some months, I may have a little deposit and I attribute these events to quality control issues.  My wife purchases the same distilled water from Crest store, but I’m assuming the supplier may change up the manufacturing process.
