RE: Clear Airway Events
Thank you.
I used a soft collar last night with no mouth tape.
Sleep notes:
- Don't remember any episodes of air rushing out of my mouth
- A bit of a rough sleep, lots of mask on mask off through the night
- Woke up in a panic a couple times
- Feel better than normal waking up today but not great
- Bad mask leaks is what I think caused all these issues

RE: Clear Airway Events
Sleep notes below. I don't feel great this morning even though I got a good 8 hours on the machine with a 2.02 AHI. Any thoughts?
- Used soft cervical collar
- Fixed yesterday's leaks with a new mask. The old one ripped
- I slept a good 8 hours straight with the machine which is probably the longest I've done
- Feel better than normal but still groggy/ sleepy eyes
- Only remember waking up once or twice on my back
- Looks like "Snore" has increased, not sure if that is an indicator of anything
This looks better than the day before. The central events correspond to a period of higher flow limits and hypopnea, so they may be related to sleep disruption or transitions. It's a tough time for restful sleep with DST starting. I had problems falling asleep last night and got to watch the clock tick from 1:59 to 3:00 AM. Something about that is unsettling.

I'm only a few days into the journey and feel better but I haven't had the "WOW" moment.
Cheers,
Owen
I am about 1 month into it, but haven't had a good full 8 hours of sleep with it yet until last night really.
I had 1 WOW moment about 3 days in. I woke up at 5 am and felt amazing (even went for a run before work), which is part of the drive that kept me going with the therapy. I just want to feel good and have the energy to be a better father. Even though the fatigue is still there, I do feel I am less grumpy overall (even with only ~4-6 hours of therapy) and in a better general mood.

I might try EPR of 2 tonight, see if that helps with the CA's.
Ya, DST sucks. Hope you get a better rest tonight.
Felt like crap today. Super tired/can barley keep my eyes open even though my numbers were decent. I tried EPR of 2 last night.
Any ideas are appreciated.
Sleep notes: - Used soft cervical collar - Sleep was very sporadic, lots of wake ups - More tired today than going without CPAP - Looks like hypopneas are down - Woke up gassy, some aerophagia I guess
What collar are you using? Might be time to consider a different one. The flow limits are what drive your pressure up. I don't see much advantage to pressures above or below 9.0, so maybe make that the maximum and minimum, keep the rest the same and deal with the positional issue as best you can.

- Still woke up tired, not as bad as yesterday
- Felt like it was a less disruptive sleep
- Woke up on my back between 2-5 am (maybe I need to wear a pillow back pack for a bit)
