Constant leak on new design P10 frame
I have been looking at alternatives for the ResMed AirFit P10 frame and found an innovative one with a quick release and 2 additional swivels. Too good to be true, unfortunately it has a somewhat constant leak that I am concerned about. My question is will my ResMed AirSense 11 compensate for this leak or will the leak compromise my therapy. I attached a recent chart and a picture of the frame. I have emailed the support team to see if they can provide assistance. Thanks for your thoughts and advice.

Your leak rate is not high enough to compromise your therapy. I wouldn't worry about it.

RE: Constant leak on new design P10 frame
If this has a vent on the front, at the swivel, it is basically providing a larger vent than intended by the P10 diffused vent. It looks to me very similar to the Resmed Swift FX nasal pillows which also has a more stable headgear than the Airfit P10. If this attaches to the P10 mask frame, you could block the additional vent.
In my opinion this is not a tested or approved design, and appears to be an Asian import. It has a redundant vent. I would plug the additional vent if I used this, or just buy the Swift FX which uses this design in a proven mask.

Deborah K. thanks for the reply.. I appreciate you insight.
Sleeprider, yes this has a vent on the front, at the swivel. It does not have the P10 diffused vent in the frame though. |
