DIY Humidifier - The 'Cheap and Cheerful Mk1 '
Todays experiment - the 'Cheap and Cheerful Mk1' DIY Humidifier!
- 2 litre 'snap-lock' lunchbox (takes the pressure well - no leaks)
- 2x 25mm plastic pipe inserts (For 25mm O.D.Pipe! - nearer to 20mm in actual size)
- C.A.Glue
- 19mm spade bit
Outlet in the centre of the lid - so if the box gets tipped on its a side, you won't suddenly dream you are drowning...
Unheated - at least for now. Humidity in my room was 53 % - using the 'Cheap and Cheerful Mk1 ' air was coming into the mask at about 75%. (Perhaps it could be floated in a bucket of hot water?)
If nothing else - I think it may be nice on a really hot night, filled with ice-cubes?
Cheers
PS
Cost : approx £6.00 ($7.52) Could be cheaper if you are brave enough to raid your wifes kitchen cupboard)
