Dream Station 2 Suddenly Using More Water
I think my one year old Philips Dream Station 2 is developing a problem. I've had the humidity set to 3 since I've been using it and suddenly two nights in a row it ran out of water. It was filled to the line. Last night I set it to 2 and it didn't run out but it was pretty close. Tonight I will set 1. The point is, out of the blue it's suddenly using way more water than before. Before a setting of 3 was 2 nights worth, now it's not even one. The humidity of my house hasn't changed. Has anyone seen this? Comments? Thanks

Have you looked at your oscar charts?
Most likely you had more leaks then usual. leaks = more water usage.

No Leaks. Says 100% fit. I think something electronic regulating it has gone wrong. I was just curious if anyone else had has this happen to their Dream Station. The funny thing is I would expect to rain out in this situation, but I'm not.

makes sense if the air is escaping somewhere. just because you had a good mask fit when you went to bed doesn't mean you maintained it throughout the night. so have a look at oscar you may be surprised.

Might you be sleeping longer? That will do it.

RE: Dream Station 2 Suddenly Using More Water
Have not had any issues with my DS2 and water usage. Any chance the water tank may have leak where its metal base plate meets up with the plastic? The heating element might evaporate any water leakage and not leave any evidence below on a nightstand or table.
