AHI quadrupled one night!
Not sure what happened last night. 52 days of use and I have a AHI of 0.63. Last night it was 2.23!
This is the past 5 nights with Sleepyhead.

Not nearly enough detail in those charts to guess at a reason for a higher event rate. Variation is normal. I have been at this a long time and have a pretty good baseline, but am not surprised when a night of 2-3 AHI comes along. It happens. You're in ths for the long run, and another night is coming.

You experienced a large number of Hyponeas that drove the index up, The question is why?
We would need to see many more charts to see what is going on and the details of your therapy, APAP? Pressures? etc. See my sig for the typs of charts to include.

A "one off" from normal night can be the result of many factors not limited to alcohol, caffeine, food and beverage consumption (what, how much, and at what time), medications, sleep position, and exercise (what, when, and duration). I'm sure others can think of a few more. I wouldn't worry about unless the one off becomes the new normal.

RE: AHI quadrupled one night!
My AHI is usually way under 1, but occasionally it jumps up to 5. There are a few reasons for this.

Environmental, I am asthmatic and suffer from allergies and I am also a wood worker. Wood dust does not do anything good for my lungs.

Sleep positions. When ever I sleep on my back my AHI climbs the roof. Sometimes I purposely sleep on my back for a while because of all my body aches.

Also alcohol and some prescription drugs can affect your AHI.

Colds and congestion
There are all types of reason for your AHI to temporarily rise. If it happens periodically, there is nothing to worry about. God has given us complicated and sometimes unpredictable human bodies.
