Doctors office lost data card
Several weeks ago I had an appointment with my sleep specialist, and of course I brought my data card with me. After my appointment, I was supposed to get my data card back, and I actually didn’t realize it was missing until I got home.
The next business day I called and let them know. Told them I was having a sleep study in a few days and to set it aside if they found it.
Then I went in for my sleep study, afterwards I asked about it. Still missing.
Good thing it was a COPY then, huh? I’ve been making copies of my data cards for years when I needed to bring my data in, figuring it could accidentally get erased, swapped with someone else’s or outright lost. I guess planning does pay off eventually.
Geoffrey Rush as Philip Henslowe, (Shakespeare in Love) : "I don't know. It's a mystery."

Murphy's Law will always strike at the least opportune time. Good on you for taking precautions.

I won't even bring my data card in. I print out reports from home and bring those in. The tech damaged the first card. However, those who need DOT confirmation are rather stuck, so a dupe works perfect.
