Dormant machine

Dormant machine
My airsense 10 is giving the motor exceeded warning so my dr. ordered a new machine.  I still have the machine from before the 10 but it has been in the case.  I am thinking about getting a new motor for the 10 which would give me 2 backup machines.  My question is replacing the hose and mask etc on it sufficient, or do I have to worry about ickies in the guts of the machine that has not been used probably in 5 or so years.  I was diligent about changing the filters.
